Global Innovators - who we are

Global Innovators Ltd works with various entrepreneurs and organisations across the world.  We specialise in taking innovations from emerging markets into developed nations and the other way round.

Patrick Dixon is author of 16 books on the future including Building a Better Business and The Future of Almost Everything. His speciality area is trend analysis, consumer trends and strategy consulting.  A serial entrepreneur himself, his first company was an IT startup in 1979 called Medicom Ltd, using the world's first desktops to deliver medical services ranging from patient records to diagnostics and laboratory reporting - a physician by first training. He has worked with a wide range of entrepreneurs, at various stages from start-up to running international companies.

Ravi Dua has had many years experience working with multinationals in many different industries as clients of Ersnt and Young, and then with a wide range of young and rapidly growing companies, transitioning them to the next stage, including stabilisation, restructuring, private sale / float / exit.  Ravi's areas of expertise include mentoring entrepreneurs, financial control and cash management, fund-raising, deal-making and guiding organisations through rapid transitions.

The Global Innovators Ltd team is growing rapidly.

The Vision

The focus of Global Innovators Ltd is the innovator as a person rather than just the innovation itself. Serial entrepreneurs are the life-blood of the future global economy.  They invent new processes, create new business models and can transform entire industries.  Serial entrepreneurs are constantly developing new ideas, concepts, products and services.  Serial entrepreneurs work best when they have highly talented people around them, in teams which can translate their innovations into commercial reality, helping them create a series of highly successful businesses, often working towards sale or joint venture or some other exit.

Global Innovators Ltd aim is usually to accelerate growth towards exit.  The company provides strategic input, mentoring, coaching and leadership insight, as well as access to specialist advice from a community of experts - on issues ranging from competitor analysis to cash flow forecasting, branding and online marketing, legal and accounting issues or effective fund-raising and so on.  The model is to partner with clients / entrepreneurs in long term relationships.
