Many millions of lives will be saved each year by 2030 as a direct result of AI, 400,000 in the EU alone.

AI is just the latest of many digital innovations sweeping through healthcare.

At the same time, AI will remain invisible to sick patients receiving care in hospital or at home.

Each year €200bn will also be saved in EU healthcare costs, 25% of it linked to wearable devices enabling instant diagnosis, 24/7 monitoring, and advice to be given, especially where people might otherwise need to be in hospital.
