There is a huge cultural gap between different world views on things like technology and science. Popular views of science, ethics and morality. Take for example the perspective of the Taliban or those living in the United States.  But we also see big variations within nations, expecially in ethical debates about human or animal experiments, or fusion of their different characteristics.  The Yuk Factor is very important in reactions to science by general public. We need to understand how emotions affect decisions about scientific research. Influence of religions such as Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism and Buddhism on attitudes to scientific research.  Example are use of embryonic stem cells, human cloning for research, transgenic animals, genetically modified food.
